Are You Feeling...
✔ Unheard and unsupported?
✔ Like something deeper is going on with your child, but no one is listening?
✔ Overwhelmed and exhausted from endless research, yet still without real answers?
✔ Frustrated after trying countless treatments that haven’t led to real results?
You’re not alone. Many parents have walked this path - until they discovered PANS/PANDAS.
Does your child experience…
✔ Sudden, severe anxiety, OCD, or phobias
✔ Extreme mood swings, rage, or emotional meltdowns
✔ Regression in speech, motor skills, or handwriting
✔ Food restrictions, sensory sensitivities, or tics
✔ Sleep disturbances, night terrors, or chronic fatigue
✔ History of infections or immune dysfunction
If this sounds familiar, it could be PANS/PANDAS
PANS (Paediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome) and PANDAS (Paediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Strep Infection) are immune-driven conditions that cause sudden and severe neuropsychiatric symptoms in children.
How It Happens:
An infection or immune trigger sets off an inflammatory response.
The immune system mistakenly attacks the brain, causing neurological and behavioural changes.
Symptoms can appear overnight and fluctuate dramatically.
Why Is It So Often Misdiagnosed?
Because symptoms mimic autism, OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and behavioural disorders, many children receive the wrong diagnosis, leaving parents frustrated and without a clear path forward.
The key difference? PANS/PANDAS symptoms appear suddenly and often fluctuate, whereas autism is typically present from early development.
The good news? PANS/PANDAS is treatable.
What Exactly is PANS/PANDAS?

Championing Hope for Families Facing PANS
Sarah Spiller knows firsthand the fear and frustration that comes when your child’s behaviour changes overnight, and no one seems to listen. As a devoted mother and dedicated naturopath, Sarah faced an uphill battle when her 4-year-old son suddenly transformed from a happy child into one who experienced extreme meltdowns, uncontrollable tantrums, and obsessive-compulsive behaviours. Following a slap cheek infection, her son’s world—and Sarah’s—changed forever.
Desperate for answers, she turned to doctors, paediatricians, and specialists only to be repeatedly dismissed. “PANS doesn’t exist,” they said. “It’s just developmental phase.” But Sarah knew what she was seeing wasn’t just a phase or poor parenting. It was something deeper. After extensive research and countless dead-ends, Sarah came across Paediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS). Yet when she mentioned it to her son’s medical team, they dismissed her again. It wasn’t until Sarah discovered the globally-recognised Moore Method, created by Keonie Moore, that she found a clear path forward. With Keonie’s mentorship and ongoing training, Sarah has become a passionate advocate and trusted expert in helping families navigate the complexities of PANS.
Driven by her personal journey, Sarah believes that no mother should be dismissed or judged when seeking answers for her child’s struggles. She feels strongly that healthcare professionals need to recognise PANS as a legitimate, researched condition—one that has been studied since the late 1980s, not something that requires “belief.” Too often, mothers are met with skepticism, or their children are prematurely labeled with autism or ADHD without a thorough understanding of PANS. While those diagnoses are important, Sarah emphasises the need to differentiate them from PANS to provide accurate and compassionate care.
Sarah’s mission is clear: to empower families with the knowledge and support they need, and to challenge the healthcare system to do better for the children and parents facing PANS. She is committed to combining evidence-based clinical reasoning with a heartfelt, compassionate approach that validates parents’ concerns and seeks to uncover the true root of their child’s struggles. At the heart of Sarah’s work is her unwavering dedication to the wellbeing of every child and family she serves. She provides personalised care to achieve the best possible outcomes. Sarah stands with parents through every step of the journey, offering a guiding hand, a listening ear, and a relentless commitment to finding solutions.
